The Boys

Wow, it has been a while!! I can't believe how fast this summer has come and gone. I feel like we havent stopped since Boston came to us in June. Jayden started Kindergarten in August and Justice has now started his first year of preschool. They are both absolutly loving it!! I am enjoying a few min. of one on one time with each of them, while the other is at school. I can't believe how busy I feel now, adding one more into the mix. And to actually have to be on a schedule is killing me! I feel like all I do is run kids around all day. I run from preschool, to Kindergarten, to Soccer games on Tues and Thurs. I feel like I am home for two minutes in between. Boston is a real trooper!! Speaking of Boston, he is getting so big!!! He was in the 95% in his heigth and 75% in weight at his two month check up. He is laughing and interacting with us now. I love this stage. He is a ton of fun. He has been sleeping 8 hours a night for about 2 months now and sometimes will go up to 11 hours!!!! I am so spoiled and I'm loving it. Here are a few pictures of him as well as the other boys and some of the things we did this summer.

Ok, funny of the day. Last night we were eating dinner and Taylor and I were talking about me nursing Boston. Well, Jayden is listening to this conversation (better than I thought) and he says to me "mom what is nursing?" So I proceed to tell him that its when Boston eats milk from my boobs. Then he gets this really confused look on his face and said "THATS AMBERS JOB?!!!!" My sister is a Registured Nurse!! I about fell off my chair laughing!!! So funny! I love the funny things my kids say!! Taylor made sure that the whole "nurse" and "nursing" thing made sense to him. Two COMPLETLY different things:)

Welcome Baby Boston!!!

Boston was born on Wed. June 3rd at 9:57 AM! He weighed 8lbs and was 20 inches long. We are so happy that he is finally here and that he is a healthy boy. He came 10 days early. I just can't picture life without him....and I feel so guilty that I was sad that he wasn't a little girl because now, I can't see it any other way!!!! I love him so much!!! He brings so much love into our home. It is so amazing how much you can love a little baby. He is changing everyday and it makes me so sad to think he will only be little for a minute. Jayden and Justice love him to pieces and are so proud of their little brother. They are so cute with him. They love to talk to him and hold him. He has the cutest little cry! I love to just sit and hold him, and study his face.

Taylor melts my heart when I see him with Boston. He is such a sweet dad and loves his boys and I more than anything in the world. I feel so blessed to have him as my husband. He has been an awesome help with changing diapers and feeding Boston so I can have a little break.

Mom, you have been an angel! I don't know what I would do without you. It has been so nice to have you here to help with getting adjusted. I love you so much!

It has been an exciting couple of weeks for us. Jayden lost his first two teeth! He is so cute without them! He was so excited to experience the whole toothfairy thing. He worked and worked on wiggling those teeth loose. He pulled them out all by himself.

Justice learned to ride his bike without any training wheels. K, the kid is 3 years old!!! He just cruises like he has been riding his "2 wheeler" forever without the training wheels. The kid has no fear. In fact, he tried to jump the curb like the older kids and totally ate it. Needless to say, he has some road rash on his forhead and nose! At least its not stitches:) He avoided cracking the head open.

Last but not least, I am 35 weeks along now!!!! Holy moly, It has been a long pregnancy. I am so ready to be done. I waddle, can't sleep, have heartburn, my legs and feet ache, look like a whale.......bla bla bla. Only those that have been pregnant can appreciate the last month and how hard it is. But it is all worth it in the end:)

We got Boston's room painted and the crib up with the bedding. I also refinished a dresser last weekend and got it ready to go. All we need is a baby now:)

pregnancy tag

Such a fun tag!!

1- Where were you when you first found out you were pregnant? Just at home in Spanish Fork.
2- Who was with you? I was just alone. Tay was at work.

3- How did you find out that you were pregnant? Ya know, I just felt like crap. I was SO SO tired I knew I had to be pregnant!! So I took a test and it said negative, so I took another one, and another one, until finally It showed up a couple weeks later. I think I knew I was pregnant the second it happened.

4- What was your first reaction to finding out you were pregnant? I was super excited. But at the same time I went, "crap, what am I going to do with 3"

5- Who was the first person you told? I called Taylor and told him he was a stud.
6-Did you plan to get pregnant? yep, and it happened the week I got my IUD out. (Sorry that was probley too much information.) We don't have any problems getting pregnant. I'll put it that way.

7- Did you tell everyone else right away? No, but we didn't wait very long either. They were all speculating anyways, so we just told them at 6 weeks. I couldn't hide it anymore. I just felt too crapy.
8-Was everybody happy for you? Oh ya!!

9- Did you go out and celebrate? I don't think so. We were putting our yard in, so if you  call that a party then yes.
10- Did you want to find out the sex? Yes!!! I couldn't handle NOT knowing.
11- What was the sex? BOY!  At least thats what the Dr. told me so I believe him. I was in denial for a while but it has sunk in.

12-Did anyone throw you a baby shower?no

13- If yes, who?

14- Did you get any outfits at the baby shower that you just knew you weren't going to put on your baby?
15- How much weight did you gain?  ALOT. I"m not going there. Its a sore subject. Ya just kind of want to quit counting once you gain so much. (mabe after the baby I will disclose how much baby weight I loose.:)

16- Did you lose all of the weight that you gained? I am bound and determined to loose every pound and then some!!!!!!!!

17- Did you get a lot of stretch marks?  No, I guess I can quit crying about my weight gain, at least I don't get stretch marks!

18- What did you crave the most?  Oh, my land. I want to each captain crunch cereal everyday. But I have had a total sweet tooth this time. BAD I know!
19- Did you crave anything crazy? Not really

20- Who or what got on your nerves the most? I hate the fact that I can barely move and I still have 10 weeks left. This little guy is SO low. I haven't been able to excercise hardly at all because of a few complications and I feel like I have no control over my body (or anything for that matter) and it ticks me off SO BAD!!!!!! I cant sleep either:(

21- Were you married at the time?YES

22- Did you have any complications during your pregnancy? I bled for the first 2 1/2 months, not fun. Then I pulled a muscle in my stomach trying to run. If I move a lot in one day, or move wrong it still hurts.

I guess I will answer part two in a few weeks.
23- Where were you when you went into labor

24- Did your water break?

25- Who drove you to the hospital?

26- Did you go early or late?
27- Who was in the room with you when you gave birth?

s28- How long were you in labor for?

29- Did you have any drugs for the pain?
30-Did you go Natural or have a c-section?

31- What was your first reaction after giving birth?
32- How big was the baby(s)?

33- Did your Husband cry?

34- What did you name the baby(s)?

35- Does his name have any significant meaning?
36- Did you have any visitors?

37- Did the baby(s) have any complications?

38- How old is your baby today? .

39- When is the next one(s) coming?

40-If you could, would you do it all over again?
41- tag 5:

I have just been thinking about my life and how crazy it has been lately! And its only 10 weeks from getting a little crazier too!  (hopefully 7 or 8 ) Baby Boston will be here before we know it. Then I will officially have 3 kids! YIKES! I was clearing off my cell phone and found some way cute pictures of Jayden and Justice and wanted to share. I cant believe how fast they have changed over the years!

Do I need to say anything?

Wow, its been an exciting few days. I have a lot to catch up on.  This month is my month to teach Jayden's preschool. He loves having it at our house. Its kind of fun to be able to see first hand what he is learning.  We are reviewing shapes, and learning the heart this month. Next week we are having a Valentine party. It should be lots of fun. I will post some pics.
I took Jayden and Justice over to Tara's for their first official hair cut!!! Taylor always has just buzzed them so we thought it was time for a real cut.  They look so cute!! After Tara did the boys hair she cut mine. We were just talking when all of a sudden Justice came down stairs and said, "look mom!" I don't know who was in more of a panic me or Tara. Justices ENTIRE face was covered in green marker. Teeth, lips and all!!! We hurried upstairs to see the damage and thank goodness it was just on his face. Him and J.T the other neighbor boy were both a mess!! Tara's little sweet Logan was the only clean kid there~
As if that wasn't enough excitement for the week. Jayden hit Justice with one of my bracelet bars and cut his eyelid. Yep, you guessed it. We had to go get stitches.......again! That poor kid has had stitches 3 times in the last 9 months! So now he has two scars on his left eye and one in the middle of his fore head. He was so funny when they sedated him. He kept raising his hand and saying, "mom, give me a high five!" He was out of it.  I guess I should just be thankful that we only live 2 minutes from the Dr.'s office:)

Its a ..............

Ok, so I have had a few days to soak it all in so I will officially share the news.......I am having another BOY!!! Thats right, the ultrasound proved we are going to be in charge of another ding ding. I can't lie, I am a little overwhelmed right now. I totally thought this one was a little girl. And honestly that is what I wanted! But I know that I will love this little guy just like my first two. I know that there is a reason this special little guy is joining our family. I can't wait to see what his personality bring into the mix. It will be an exciting adventure.

When we went to the gym Tay showed us all that he still has mad basketball skills. I had to post this picture! What a stud! His goal is to be able to dunk it when he is 40 so the boys will remember! Only 9 more to go:) That is so weird to say!
 Santa read Jayden's letter .

Merry Christmas!!

I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas! We sure did! It was so much fun this year because the kids really caught on to everything. Christmas Eve we had Mike, Cath, Payton, and Cade up and ate Fondue. It was sooo yummy. After that we decorated our traditional Christmas train out of boxes. My family has done that ever since I can remember and I still love doing it.  After we decorate our boxes we hang our stockings in them. Santa fills our boxes with presents and stuffs our stockings. Its so nice because after the crazy Christmas morning we just put all our stuff back in the train and its  all together. Taylor likes to tease me because I get so into it:) What can I say, I'm just a kid at heart when it comes to Christmas!
After that we let the kids open their PJ's then they were off to bed.  It was so cute, we tucked them in and then later went to check on them. Both of them were out of bed looking out the window. When Taylor asked them what they were doing they said they "were looking for Santa" It was so cute!
The next morning we opened presents, had a nice breakfast, and just lounged around. Later in the day we took them to the gym at Tay's work to ride their new bikes. We had too much snow to ride outside and they were dying to get on their new bikes.  Jayden got a yellow and blue one and Santa got Justice a "motorcycle" bike. Thats all he wanted, was a motorcylce!

Just a funny

Ok, I will update Christmas pictures soon. But I just have to tell a funny.  Jayden saw me getting dressed this morning  in my exercise clothes and he said to me, " mom why are you exercising, your still gonna be fat" I just laughed! I tried to explain that if I exercise while I am pregnant then my belly will go down faster after I have the baby. BTW, Jayden thinks my belly is huge. But he seriously has no idea what I am capable of when I am prego:) I still have a long ways to go! I love that kids will just say whatever the heck they are thinking! I wish sometimes I could just do that too!

Where has December gone? I am so behind with this whole blogging thing! We have been busy decorating for Christmas and all the things that come with this time of year. The boys are SO EXCITED for Santa to come! Kids just make Christmas the best! We went to the mall so they could sit on Santa's lap and they loved it. Justice told him he wanted a motorcycle, Jayden asked for a bike.  We didn't even have any tears this year! I think Jayden was a little nervous, but he couldn't let Justice out do him.
My parents bought a a brazley iron this year for Christmas and gave it to us early. So the Bowring tradition lives on! I love those stinkin things. I can't eat enough of those dang cookies. It was fun to make them. The house smells SO good!
I am now 15 weeks pregnant! Yeah! I am feeling so much better now and I am so thankful for that! My kids watched a few too many movies there for a while so I am trying to make up the lost time and do some fun things with them!! I think they are glad to have a mom again:)  My official due date is June 13th. So if the trend continues I might get a May baby. I am already so big. My belly is out there! What do ya do? I am praying for a little girl. I can hardley stand it.  We will be finding out what it is next month. I cant handle the surprise thing.
I will have lots to post this weekend. Hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas!

Jaydenisms

OK, so here are some fun things about Jayden.

*He was due on November 28th, but he was born 3 weeks early! THANK YOU! His birthday is November 8th.

*Loves to sing (I am SO sick of hearing the star wars theme I could vomit!)

* Loves Indiana Jones and Star Wars.  He and His friends play "wars" everyday.

*We took Jayden to a Jazz game when he was  just 8 weeks old.  We had 4th row seats right down from the players wives. Mosha Kirelinko saw us and asked if she could hold him! We had dressed him in a Kerelinko jersey (which was huge on him) and spiked his hair. (he had a lot!)She thought that he was so cute. She was really nice and talked to us for a bit. We have a picture somewhere!

* Jayden can't quite say disapear yet, he says  it "dis be peared"

* When he was learning to talk he could say "hippopotamus" just fine, but he could not say "Octopus" He would call it a "hobitus"

* Taylor bought Jayden a Chocolate donut once because he went potty in the toilet. (chocolate are his favorite) and he sat at the table for 20 minutes  (not kidding, 20 Min.) just staring at it because he didn't want messy hands!! He is such a clean freak!

* When He was 2, Taylor coached girls basketball at Springville and he would just wait for dad to come home from work and take him to practice. I think he really payed attention because he would come home doing "defense" drills. It was so cute! He would bend down, slap the floor and say "denfence". THen he would slide across the floor saying "ball, ball, ball."

* When we were trying to potty train Jayden he kept peeing his pants. So finally I got after him. I told him he better stop peeing his pants, don't get me wrong, I was raising my voice at him. He walked away from me then turned around and said, "Be nice to me Mom!" I just busted up laughing.

*When he was 3 he said: "Are you serious?", "Oh, that makes sense"

* In Toys R Us the other day we were looking at toys and he said "Mom, come look at this, It is so Freakin Awesome!" There was a couple in the same isle just laughing at him.

* When he was about 3 1/2 he went up to a the consession stand at the games and asked for some french fries. He came back to us and said, "mom, they told me no!" I asked why because I had no clue what he was talking about. He told me that he had asked for fries and they told him no! He didn't have any money. How could they say no to such a cute, inocent kid?

* He once told Taylor that he wanted to live with Jesus because he had a basketball hoop at his house.

* Jayden has the best memory ever. He remembers everything you say or do! I have had to really work on my mouth. When he was 3 he came up to me and said, "mom, Justice is a little shit huh" He has also said, "Damnit Justice" I fully take the responsibility for those words, even though I feel that they were justified! Anyone that knows Justice, knows he is a handful:)

* The other Day we were talking about Christmas and Jayden said, "Mom, how can reindeer fly? That doesn't make any sense, they don't have wings, only legs" Thank goodness he believed the BS that I spit out real quick! Sometimes I think that he thinks about things too much. Your only five Jayden. Just believe what we tell you!

Jayden, we love you tons boy! We are glad you had a fun Birthday!

Happy Birthday Jayden

Wow, Our Jayden has turned 5! I seriously don't know how this happened so  fast. It seems like just yesterday that he came to our family.  He is such a tender hearted, sweet little guy. He loves his  little brother to pieces and makes sure that he is taken care of. He LOVES preschool and is anxious to learn. He loves sports of all kinds.  In fact, he came out of the womb lovin sports. When he was just a baby Taylor would put on a basketball game if he was fussy and he would calm right down!!! He spent many hours in the gym while I was coaching volleyball at Springville. He was always so good for me!! I would just bring his little walker and he would cruise all over the gym.
He has scared us more than a few times with his health. When he was one, he got a really high fever so we took him to the Dr. His heart rate was like 220 beats per minute. They couldn't even count it.  They told us that we could send him in the ambulance or go right to the ER. In the end we went to see a cardiologist and they told us he had svt. We were relieved to know that it wasn't life threatening and when his heart starting racing we just needed to hold him upside down!!
When he was 2 ( and Justice was 7 weeks old) He was diagnosed with Nephrotic Syndrome and put in  Payson hospital for 3 days, then Primary Children's Hospital for 5 days. His little body was so swollen with  fluid that he had an extra 8 pounds of water on him! That's a lot for a two year old! He is doing well now, and still has relapses but,  thanks to his medicine we can keep it under control. He is such a special little guys. We love you so much Jayden!
